Plain language first: We are a professional forensics agency — not a magic recovery service. We apply expert methodology and licensed tools. We cannot guarantee recovery in every case. No legitimate recovery agency can.
1. Services
KarCrypto provides the following services (collectively, "Services"):
- Crypto wallet access recovery (MetaMask, Ledger, Trezor, Trust Wallet, wallet.dat)
- Exchange account unfreeze (AML/KYC compliance packages)
- Blockchain analytics and on-chain fund tracing
- Legal package preparation for law enforcement (FBI, FinCEN, Interpol, МВД, СК)
- Emergency response and asset protection
2. Engagement and NDA
- All case work begins with a free initial diagnosis
- A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is signed before any case details are shared
- Formal engagement begins upon execution of a Service Agreement and payment of the applicable retainer or diagnostic fee
- We reserve the right to decline any case at our sole discretion
3. Fees and Payment
3.1 Standard pricing
- Wallet recovery: $300–$1,500 depending on complexity
- Exchange unfreeze: $500–$3,000
- Blockchain analytics: $800–$5,000
- Legal package: $1,000–$4,000
- Emergency response: 2× base rate
3.2 Success fee model
For large theft cases, we offer a no-recovery, no-fee structure. The success fee is 10–20% of the recovered amount, agreed in the Service Agreement before work begins. The success fee is payable only upon confirmed recovery.
3.3 Refunds
Retainer and diagnostic fees are non-refundable once work has commenced. If we determine a case is unworkable before commencing investigation, any prepaid fees will be refunded in full.
4. No Guarantee of Recovery
Cryptocurrency recovery is technically complex and outcome-dependent. KarCrypto does not guarantee the recovery of any funds or access. Factors beyond our control include:
- Funds converted to privacy coins (Monero, Zcash) and irretrievably mixed
- Exchange non-cooperation with disclosure requests
- Seed phrase with too many unknown words to brute-force within feasible time
- Jurisdictions that do not respond to MLAT or Interpol requests
- Time elapsed since incident (evidence degrades; exchanges purge records)
We provide honest probability assessments during the initial diagnosis. We will not accept cases with near-zero recovery probability.
5. Client Obligations
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your case
- Not withhold information material to the investigation
- Respond to information requests in a timely manner
- Not simultaneously engage other recovery services on the same case without prior written notice
- Not use KarCrypto services for any unlawful purpose
Providing false or misleading information terminates the engagement without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
All forensic reports, analytical documents, and legal packages prepared by KarCrypto are our intellectual property until fees are paid in full, at which point they transfer to the client. The content of this website — articles, guides, methodology descriptions — is protected by copyright. You may share links; you may not reproduce content without attribution.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- KarCrypto is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use our Services
- Our total liability in any case is limited to the fees paid by the client for that specific case
- We are not responsible for actions taken by law enforcement, exchanges, or courts following our legal packages
- We are not responsible for market movements, further theft, or additional losses occurring during an active case
8. Prohibited Use
You may not use KarCrypto services to:
- Recover assets from illegal activity (fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion)
- Harass, stalk, or cause harm to any third party
- Circumvent lawful exchange holds, court orders, or regulatory freezes
- Obtain information about wallets or transactions you have no lawful right to access
We report suspected illegal use to appropriate authorities.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by international commercial law principles. Disputes that cannot be resolved by negotiation shall be referred to binding arbitration under the rules of a mutually agreed arbitration body. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief from a competent court.
10. Amendments
We may update these Terms. The current version is always available at karcrypto.com/en/terms-of-use.html. Continued use of Services after a material update constitutes acceptance.
